Level 2 Energy Audit:

A Level 2 Audit includes everything a Level 1 Audit does with the addition of diagnostic testing and evaluating the efficiency of your appliances.

We use Blower Door technology to test for the houses’ overall air tightness, gauges to test and compare room pressures and relative humidity.

We check the efficiency of appliances like water heaters, heating and air conditioning units and any unusual electrical load your house is using. (A new ENERGY STAR certified refrigerator uses about 1/3 the electricity of a 20 year old one)

The report you are issued gives you a more comprehensive description of the overall energy efficiency of your home.
