 Construction has begun on the space that will hold the expanding business of 26 employees and serve as headquarters for the national award winning company’s green training programs. The training facility will also be made available to the public when construction is complete. The location of the building is 10201 N.W. Expressway, just west of the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
The building will employ many of the latest techniques in the green industry, such as
- Rainwater harvesting systems
- Geothermal heat and air
- Solar hot water heating
- Will be built zero energy ready
The building will also be entered into the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Program for certification.
GWS president Kelly Parker ensures Oklahoma residents that building sustainable and energy efficient offices and homes can be easily achieved. “During construction we will showcase the simplicity of building green and share our experience with local residents.”
